Abstract:

To provide an implant system for orthopedic surgery for protecting an inborn tissue in treatment by sectional joint formation operation.

The implant system for orthopedic surgery comprises a pulley component 12, a kneepan component 30, a single condyle implant component 14, and a wear-resistant stud 50. The wear-resistant stud comprises a head 52 provided with a support surface 56 and a counter-bone surface 58, and a fixed columnar member 54 extended from the counter-bone surface 58 outward. The support surface of the stud has such size and shape that as the stud is implanted, the support surface of another implant component is complemented or extended to protect an inborn joint cartilage from wear due to the kneepan component.
