PURPOSE: To provide an improved coating composition suitable for concealing scuff marks on a glass article.

CONSTITUTION: This composition is composed of a component A in about 70 to 100 wt.% composed of an organooxy-chainstopped organopolysilsequioxane in about 0 to 75 wt.% having a viscosity of about 5 to 1,000 centipoise at 25°C (1), tetra-organotitanate in about 5 to 15 wt.% (2), organotriorganooxysilane in about 0 to 25 wt.% (3) and carboxylic acid ester in about 0 to 15 wt.% (4) and a volatile diluent B in about 0 to 30 wt.%. The coating formed from this composition shows improved cure rate and masks wet bottles uniformly and completely.
