Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion between asphalt and an aggregate in an anionic bitumen emulsion by adding a polyamideamine adhesion promoter to the emul sion.
SOLUTION: A compound comprising a polyamideamine condensation reaction product obtained from 50-80wt.% of a mixture composed of (A) 80-1wt.% of a monomer of a tall oil fatty acid and (B) 20-99wt.% of a polymer of linolenic acid, (C) 50-20wt.% of a polyalkylenepolyamine and (D) the maximum amount of 10wt.% of paraformalbehyde is added to an emulsion. the component B is any of a 36C dimer acid, a 54C trimer acid and a 72C tetramer acid, the component C is any of aminoethylethalnolamine, etc., and preferably the compound is dispersed into a solvent such as ethylene glycol.
