Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an improving method and means for storing and treating an optical disk.
CONSTITUTION: Optical disks are stored respectively in five detachable optical disk carriers 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, and are arranged so as to line up their side surfaces at a center part of a frame 18. The cover of the optical disk carrier 13 is taken off for exposing an optical disk sleeve stored while lining up the side surfaces in the inside. The optical disk carrier is positioned between parallel two sets rails, and an information read/write head unit retreats/advances from a position opposite to the optical disk sleeve on it.
