Title:
IMPROVEMENT IN IRON LOSS OF STATOR FOR LARGEETYPE ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5683245
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce iron loss on both tooth and yoke of a core and to improve energy-saving effect, by applying pulse laser at a constant pitch and in a prescribed direction, on surface of a fanlike element of the core punched out from a unidirectional silicon steel plate. CONSTITUTION:A fanlike element 20 of a stator core is punched out from a unidirectional silicon steel plate 10 in such a manner that length-wise direction of the fanlike element 20 is to become parallel with or at right angle to the rolling direction F. Pulse laser is applied at a constant pitch l on the surface of the fanlike element 20 in such a manner as to be directed in radial direction for a yoke section 20a and in circumferential direction for a tooth section 20b. It is possible, by doing so, to form on the surface of the fanlike element 20 small projections which is easily magnetized and to reduce iron loss.
