Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an in-mold coating molding method and a mold therefor which can form an excellent coating film on the surface of an RIM molded form.
CONSTITUTION: RIM row material is part in the cavity 41 of a mold 20, an RIM molded form is molded, then when paint is put through a paint filling hole 23 provided at the mold in a gap between the surface of the form and a cavity surface generated due to the shrinkage of the form in the mold to form the coating film on the surface of the form, the hole is provided by opening at the cavity surface 22, and an engaging part molding space 44 protruding externally is provided at the edge of the cavity 41 at the side of the surface 32 opposed to the hole.
