To provide an in-vehicle audio apparatus in which a speaker system provided at the rear of a vehicle can be effectively used by enabling the speaker system to exhibit enhanced low-pitched sound reproduction capability when the speaker system is used inside the vehicle while a back door is closed.
The in-vehicle audio apparatus is provided in a vehicle having a freely turnable back door in a body and is equipped with a first enclosure provided in the body, a first port and a first speaker unit provided in the first enclosure so as to face the rear direction of the vehicle, a second enclosure provided in the back door, a second port and a second speaker unit provided in the second enclosure so as to face the front direction of the vehicle when the back door is closed, and a closing material provided in the back door. The first speaker unit is arranged almost symmetrically with the second speaker unit with respect to a plane that bisects a turning angle with a position where the back door is closed as reference, and the first port is arranged almost symmetrically with the closing material with respect to the face that bisects the turning angle.
