Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide random number processing with fewer computing resources to be used for assigning a sequence number having a value changing per packet as a countermeasure against a replay attack in vehicle system communication.SOLUTION: A transmission control device 110 of an in-vehicle system 100 comprises: a base random number storage unit 118 storing a plurality of base random numbers; a mask value table storage unit 119 storing mask values to be linked to a plurality of identifiers of packets, respectively; a packet random number generation unit 113 acquiring one base random number from the plurality of base random numbers stored in the base random number storage unit 118, acquiring a mask value linked to the identifier of the packet for transmitting control information from the plurality of mask values stored in the mask value table storage unit 119, and generating a packet random number on the basis of the acquired base random number and the acquired mask value; and a communication unit 111 transmitting the packet in which the generated packet random number is added to the control information to a reception control device 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
