To improve the gasification of volatile components of matters to be incinerated and a combustion speed of a fixed carbon component by constituting a furnace internal wall of a ceramic porous material to increase the quantity of thermal radiation within a combustion furnace in a fire grate type incineration equipment to incinerate wastes with a low heating value containing highly volatile components.
An internal wall 1a using a ceramic porous material 15 as main material and a fire grate 2 are arranged in a combustion furnace 1 and the fire grate 2 comprises a fire grate surface having a protruded part at the central part and an uneven surface at the peripheral part thereof. The internal wall 1a and the fire grate 2 are made pullable upward and in shape, the both are put together to make a pot as cartridge type. A circulation port 6a is provided at an upper part of the combustion furnace 1 to circulate a combustion gas 5a to a gas combustion chamber 12 below the fire grate 2 and the combustion gas 5a introduced from the circulation port 6a passes through a circulation path 6 and is mixed with a flame 11a formed by a burner 8a to burn combustible components in the combustion gas 5a in the gas combustion chamber 12.
