Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transfer a call overflowing in a line service to a public line by sending line attribute information through a signal link and sending a voice call through the public line in the case of overflow of the call. CONSTITUTION: If a call overflows in a private line, an originating node A transmits line attribute information to a terminating B through a private line signal link 13. The node B selects a virtual directory number (VDN) so as to assign it to a local call and transmits the selected VDN signal to the node A. The node A transmits a local line call accompanied with VDN to the node B by a public line 12. The node B receives the local line call accompanied with the VDN signal and translates VDN into an actual directory number, a line device number, and line attribute information, thereby sending line attribute information of the overflowing call through the link 13 and sending the voice call through the line 12.
