PURPOSE: To prevent an indicator from being broken even when it is struck by an automobile or the other oil feeding nozzle by covering an upper face of a body with a transparent material and covering the periphery with an elastic material.
CONSTITUTION: An indicator 20 comprises a liquid crystal display portion 21 located this side for indicating the oil feeding quantity, and an indicator body C comprising a circuit portion 22 obtained by integrating an electronic circuit into a printed board. The liquid crystal display portion 21 is inclined to the rear lower portion to the circuit portion 22, e.g. at an angle of 15°. An upper face and an outer peripheral face of this body C is covered by a cover 24 made of a transparent material, and an outer peripheral face of the transparent cover 24 and a lower face of the body C are covered by a rubber case 25 as an elastic member. A gap is formed between the transparent cover 24 and the body C, so that the impact generated in the collision with something, is not directly propagated to the indicator body C. The transparent cover 24 is in a condition that it is wrapped by the rubber case 25.
