Title:
INDIRECT LIGHTING EQUIPMENT WITH BUILT-IN AIR CONDITIONER OUTLET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6410038
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize a floor space and to make possible a change in interior design on a wall surface, by providing an outlet port on the desired side surface of a cylinder-like post for indirect lighting equipment, interconnecting the lower end of said post to the output duct of an air conditioner and disposing a damper in a certain part of the inner space of the post.

CONSTITUTION: An air flow passage 9 is defined in the inner space portion of a post 1, and outlet ports 10 is provided on one face of or on a plurality of faces of the side wall adjacent to an end plate 7 of the post 1. In a cylindrical duct 12 communicating with the lower end of the air flow passage 9, rotary axis crossing the duct 12 is axially provided in a freely rotatable manner and further a damper 13 with a disc fixed to said rotary axis is interposed as constitution. An open angle of the damper 13 is adjusted by a swing lever 14 axially fixed to the rotary axis. The lower end of the duct 12 is interconnected to a flexible duct 15. This equipment may be uprightly arranged on the floor of an office or the like to obtain the desired luminous intensity by means of the lighting from an indirect lighting fitting part 8 toward ceiling direction as well as to carry out the air conditioning by discharging air at a controlled temperature out of the outlet port 10 communicating with an output duct (D) of an air conditioning apparatus toward a residential space.
