Abstract:
To provide an individual authentication device capable of authenticating an individual by a simple method without giving a user complicatedness and sense of incongruity.
A short-term history being a history of terminal operation and a long-term history being a history of terminal operation performed previous to any terminal operation included in the short-term history are recorded in a button history 105 and a pictorial symbol history 107. A history comparing part 109 compares the short-term history with the long-term history and authenticates an individual that operates the terminal on the basis of similarity of the terminal operation included in the short-term history to the terminal operation included in the long-term history.
