To collect even dust which is heretofore passed through a filter and to improve the dust collection efficiency over an entire part by providing a machine with a means for circulating a liquid reserved in a tank and sprinkling the liquid from an upper part of a belt cyclically rotated by the circulating means.

This cooling and dust collecting machine for executing cooling and dust collecting in a room is provided with a tank 1 in which a liquid 10 prepd. by mixing water-soluble glue with distilled water is reserved. A lower pulley 4 and part of a belt 2 are immersed into the liquid 10 of the tank 1. The belt 2 consisting of rubber or plastic is wound on an upper pulley 3 and the lower pulley 4 and is cyclically rotated by a motor 6. The dust, etc., in the air are captured during the rotation thereof. The liquid 10 in the tank 1 is stirred by the operation of a pump 7 during the rotation of the belt 2 and the liquid 10 is sent to the sliding section of the motor 6 and a shower 5 by a pump 8. The capturing of the dust is execute by the liquid 10 sprinkled onto the belt 2.
