To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner of which the bellmouth and the drain pan are molded by dies as one body, thus contributing to the reduction of labor and cost.
A suck-in opening 18 is formed at the front surface of an indoor unit body S. In the body, an indoor heat exchanger 5 is arranged to face the suck-in opening. An indoor blower 3 is arranged at the rear surface side of the indoor heat exchanger through a bellmouth 4. A drain pan 6 is arranged at the lower part of the indoor heat exchanger. The bellmouth and the drain pan are molded with dies as one body through a hinge H. The hinge has a plurality of fold lines 1c-3c that are parallel to the bellmouth and the drain pan. By bending the hinge along the fold line, the hinge is sandwiched between the lower end of the bellmouth and the upper surface of the drain pan, thus erecting the bellmouth in the drain pan.
