Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heat treatment apparatus enabling the power reduction operation, capable of reducing production of defective works, and removing them.
SOLUTION: A heat treatment unit 100 having an induction heating coil 110 is movably suspended, and when a crankshaft W as a work is turned, a heat treatment unit 100 placed on a pin unit P1 (or P2, etc.), heats an outer circumferential surface of the pin unit P1, etc., while being put into a circular motion together with the pin unit P1, etc., and the power supplied to the heat treatment unit 100 is turned to the normal power and the power in the power reduction condition in one circular motion every time when the heat treatment unit 100 arrives at the control position in this heating process, and this induction heat treatment apparatus comprises a displacement sensor 610 detecting the displacement in the vertical direction of the heat treatment unit 100 placed on the pin P1, etc., and a monitoring unit which detects that the heat treatment unit 100 arrives at the control position and judges whether or not the turning or the powers and the distance between the induction heating coil 110 and the pin P1, etc., are abnormal, based on the result of detection.
