PURPOSE: To effectively remove electrodes by forming an insulating layer on the surface having a thin metal film, and alternately folding reversely a film at the reversed part of a continuous pattern to construct an inductor.
CONSTITUTION: Aluminum is deposited on the whole one side surface of a polyethylene terephthalate film 11, cut in the width of 5mm, partly removed at the deposited film by laser trimming to provide reversed parts 15 at an interval of 45mm, an insulating layer is formed thereon, alternately folded reversely at the reversed part 15 of a continuous pattern to have a selfinductance, bonded to form an electrode leading layer by zinc metallizing, leads are welded to form an inductor element. Striplike thin metal films 13 are formed at both sides of a thin metal film 12 of continuous pattern to be alternately folded reversely at the reversed part 15, thereby effectively removing electrodes when the electrode leading layer is formed.
