Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial furnace and a burner for regenerative combustion which can reduce CO and NOX.
SOLUTION: A burner tile 22 of the industrial furnace 100 and the burner 1 for regenerative combustion is provided with a projecting part 24 projecting from an air supply and exhaust side 23, and a fuel open side 25 is formed inside the projecting part. In a method of combustion of the industrial furnace and the burner for regenerative combustion thus constituted, an air hole 26 has a first portion 26D on the downstream side in the direction of a flow of supply air and a second portion 26U on the upstream side thereof. The first portion 26D is slanted at a first angle (2-10°) so that the extension of the axis thereof comes near to the axis of the projecting part, while the wall surface on the side near the axis of the burner tile, out of the inner surfaces of the second portion 26U, is slanted to the side opposite to the first angle, at a second angle larger than the first angle.
