Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the easy-to-operate inertia moving mouse capable of locating a cursor at the required position in the display screen with little operation by simplifying the operation of a mouse even though it should be operated in a narrow place.

CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a detection means 5 detecting the turning on or off of the moving operation, moving amount detection means 1 and 2 locating the cursor on the display screen when the detection means 5 is turned on to the required position, storage means 6 storing the moving direction and speed from among moving amount to be outputted from the means 2 just before the detection means 5 is turned off, and means 7 having terminals which accept the output signals from the detection means 5, moving amount detection means 2, and storage means 6 and selectively outputting the output signal from the means 2 or the output signal from the storage means 6 by accepting the turning on or off signal from the means 5.
