To provide an information answering device which can answer to any state of a person to be provided with information, decrease human work as much as possible, and converge answer contents to be proper one as the operation of a system advances.
A means 2 which receives state identification information receives the identification information 1 on an operator for an external device, a means 3 which processes the state identification information into answer judgment information generates the answer judgment information for judging whether or not an answer should be provided for the operator immediately and what information should be provided, and a means 7 which judges whether or not the answer is necessary, judges whether or not the answer should be given according to the answer judgment information 6 and holds the answer for a while when the answer need not be given immediately to make the answering operation efficient.
