Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the information communication method by which the processing result is sent efficiently and the communication cost is reduced in the information communication system conducting asynchronous communication.
SOLUTION: A time required to send a retrieval result (reply) is calculated by an information service center based on a data quantity of the reply with respect to a retrieval request received from a vehicle (S101-S104). Then before the service call processing to send an end notice of retrieval processing within a minimum charge time, the information service center compares the minimum charging time with a time required to send the calculated reply (S106), and when the transmission of the reply is not finished within the minimum charging time, only the end notice of the retrieval processing is sent (S108), and when the reply transmission is finished within the minimum charging time, the reply transmission is finished within the minimum charging time (S107).
