An information display controller 3a, when a control signal outputted from a man conveyer controller 4 is inputted, extracts character information corresponding to a flag included in this control signal from a message storage 31. A message generating section 32 outputs the character information extracted from the message storage 31 to a display screen generating section 34. The display screen generating section 34 extracts image information corresponding to the flag included in the control signal from an image receiving section 33. The display screen generating section 34, based on the extracted image information and character information, generates a combined screen and displays it on a display section 5a.
