This information display medium 1 is formed with password information 2 or authentication number information 3 for specifying the user of document information. A pen type information input device 4 is provided with a detecting part 11 for detecting symbols 5 positioned along an orbit handwritten with this main device 4 on the information display medium 1, and for detecting the password information 2 or the authentication number information 3. The password information 2 or authentication number information 3 preliminarily stored in an information storage medium is compared with the password information 2 or authentication number information 3 recognized by the detecting part 11, and when the they are matched, the information of the handwritten orbit of the information input device 4 specified according to the detection of the symbols 5 is accepted.
