To provide a user with information about a position to which the user of an information processing apparatus frequently visits.
An information processing apparatus 100 includes: an acquired information storage part 180 for storing acquired information that associates one or a plurality of pieces of mutually different position information with respective acquisition counts of each of one or the plurality of pieces of position information; an acquisition part 130 which acquires the position information indicating a position of the apparatus itself; an acquisition count measuring part 150 which, when the acquisition part 130 acquires the position information, adds a predetermined value to the acquisition count associated with the acquired position information; and a control part 160 which sorts the acquired information stored in the acquired information storage unit 180 in a descending order of the acquisition count. The information processing apparatus 100 further includes a display part 140, and the control part 160 arranges the position information of the acquired information which the acquired information storage part 180 stores in a sorted order and displays the information on the display part 140.
