Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly transmit print data from a mobile terminal to an image forming apparatus intended by a user, without requiring a complicated operation by the user.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus communicates with an image forming apparatus by means of a first radio communication system and a second radio communication system having a shorter service distance than the first radio communication system. The information processing apparatus includes: first transmission means which transmits identification information of the information processing apparatus to the image forming apparatus by means of the second radio communication system; second receiving means which receives a response to the identification information, from the image forming apparatus, by means of the first radio communication system, using the identification information; and second transmission means which transmits print data to the image forming apparatus by means of the first radio communication system, on receipt of the response.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
