To provide a mechanism capable fo appropriately recognizing a tapping operation of a user.SOLUTION: An information processing device recognizes operation of an operation body to a displayed button 701 displayed on an operation plane. The information processing device determines a tap operation in which the operation body approaches to a position closer to the operation plane than a first distance in a height direction and then moves away to a position more distant than a second distance on the basis of a plurality of operation positions P1 to P6 of the operation body, and recognizes the tap operation to the displayed button 701 by the operation body, when a two dimensional operation trajectory on the operation plane determined by the operation positions P1 to P6 of the tapping operation is included in the area of the displayed button 701.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
