Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly determine necessary processing when a reusable component is recovered, and contribute to promotion of reuse of the component.SOLUTION: An information processing device 16 is a device for processing information of an ink cartridge 11 used in an inkjet printer 10. The information processing device 16 reads the information from an IC chip 12 mounted on the recovered ink cartridge 11 by an information read unit 70, and determines the number of times of reuse of the recovered ink cartridge 11 by a number-of-times determination unit 71 on the basis of the information read. Then, a processing determination unit 72 determines a processing method to the ink cartridge 11 on the basis of the number of times of the reuse determined, and an information output unit 74 outputs data indicating the processing method determined.
