To provide an information processing apparatus which facilitates selection of a competitor to be voted, an information processing method, and a program.SOLUTION: In a voting system, an information processing apparatus 10 includes: a vote receiving unit 111 which receives a vote on a competition from a first user; an information acquisition unit 112 which acquires voting information indicating one or more selected competitors selected by the first user from among a plurality of competitors participating in the competition and rankings of the one or more competitors selected by the first user in the vote received by the vote receiving unit 111; a competitor specifying unit 113 which specifies a noticeable competitor who draws the attention of the first user on the basis of the rankings of the selected competitors indicated by the voting information; and an information providing unit 114 which provides notice information indicating the noticeable competitor specified by the competitor specifying unit 113, to the first user or a second user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
