Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the degree of integration of neurons in a neural network.
CONSTITUTION: In each of neurons constituting the neural network, a supplying part 11 converts light received by a light receiving part 5 to electric energy and accumurates the energy in an accumulating part 13 and a signal receiving part 12 discriminates the frequency of the received signal and reads out data by recognizing a signal as a frequency-modulated signal and outputs the read data from signal lines 14, 15 as data expressed by potential. The data outputted from the signal lines 14, 15 are processed by prescribed processing in accordance with the received frequency.
