The information providing apparatus for providing information to an information terminal device which has a bulletin section for putting up bulletin information to be notified, and which is connected so that related information regarding contents put up on the bulletin section may be receivable, comprises; a plurality of reader modules including a reader section which is provided inside a case of the information terminal apparatus so as to be removable, and which reads own identification information stored in a memory medium for identifying the information device from other information device, and a light emitter for making position of the reader section recognized from outside the case; and a communication section for transmitting the identification information which is read from the memory medium by the reader section, to an information managing device. The reader module is arranged so that the light emitter may face a front face of the case.
