Abstract:
PURPOSE:To read out the data of an optional format easily and at a high speed by comparing the output of a counter which counted the sector numbers with the output of a switch which designates the sector number and receiving the coincidence signal of comparison to produce the reading control signal corresponding to a data block. CONSTITUTION:A counter 1 is reset by an index pulse and counted up successively by a sector pulse SECTOR. The output of the counter 1 is sent to a comparator 2 and compared with the output of a switch 3 which designates the sector number. Then the coincidence signal of the comparison is sent to a monostable multivibrator 41. The monostable multivibrator 41 delivers an OFF pulse A at the front edge of the coincidence signal, and a monostable multivibrator 42 delivers a pulse B at the rear edge of the pulse A. The pulse B is delivered via an OR gate 5 in the form of a reading control signal 51. In the same way, a monostable multivibrator 43 delivers an OFF pulse C at the rear edge of the pulse B. Then an ON pulse is delivered at the rear edge of the pulse C. As a result, the data of an optional format can be read easily and at a high speed.
