Abstract:

To obtain an information recording apparatus whose transfer efficiency is enhanced by a method wherein, when data is written into a storage means by every definite amount, it is written via another storage means when the data write time exceeds a maximum value.

Received data in an optical shape is input to a reception circuit 6A via a pin diode 14, it is sent to a main control part 6B when one byte portion is accumulated, it is converted by a parallel conversion part 60, and it is transferred to a buffer memory 6C as one-byte data. Then, when data covering one block is accumulated in the memory 6C, a write operation to a temporary recording medium part 100a is started. When the data is transferred to the medium part 100a, the main control part 6B outputs a write signal so as to record the data into a main recording medium 100b. It takes a definite time to write the data into the medium part 100b. However, when a data reception operation and a write operation to a semiconductor memory part 10 are performed simultaneously, the write operation can be performed efficiently.
