Abstract:
To provide an infrared measuring device with which, when measuring infrared reflected light by proximity measurement, it is possible to prevent ambient light from being included as noise and suppress erroneous operation by a relatively simple measurement.SOLUTION: The infrared measuring device includes a charge circuit for charging electric charges that correspond to a current from a light receiving element, and a discharge circuit for discharging the charged electric charges. The discharge circuit includes a batch discharge circuit 42, a stepwise charging capacitor for moving electric charges that remain in a charging capacitor, and a stepwise discharge circuit 43. The batch discharge circuit 42 charges the charging capacitor during a charge time from a measurement to obtain one measured value till a measurement to obtain a next measured value, as well as discharges every time the charging capacitor reaches a prescribed amount of charge. The stepwise discharge circuit 43 discharges the electric charges of the stepwise discharging capacitor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
