Title:
INK, INK CARTRIDGE, AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012031349
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an inkjet ink which can perform image recording with high image density while maintaining the stability of evaporation and discharge of an ink even at the state containing calcium of >0 ppm and ≤40 ppm.

The inkjet ink comprises: a self-dispersing pigment in which a functional group containing a phosphonic acid group is bonded onto a particle surface; a salt which comprises a cation selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal ion, an ammonium ion and an organic ammonium ion, and an anion selected from the specific group consisting of a halogen ion or the like by bonding and the value of multiplying the anion concentration of the salt by the anion valence of the salt in an ink is ≥0.02 mol/L and ≤0.15 mol/L; calcium of >0 ppm and ≤40 ppm; and a water-soluble organic compound containing 15-crown 5-ether of which content is ≥2.5 mass% and ≤10.0 mass% with respect to the entire ink mass.
