Abstract:

To provide an ink suitable for producing a color filter for a liquid crystal by an inkjet method, and further to provide a method for producing the high-quality color filter in good productivity, and the color filter.

This ink comprising water, water-soluble organic solvent, a coloring matter and a curable resin contains at least two kinds of dyes having specific structures as the coloring matter, and two kinds of high molecular compounds having repeating units with specified structures as the curable resin. The acid value of the high molecular compound is 140-170 mg-KOH/g. The method for producing the color filter comprises a step for forming pixels by imparting the ink to a substrate. The color filter is produced by the method. The image-displaying device and the liquid crystal display have the color filter.
