Abstract:
To provide a phase-conversion ink including pigment coloring agent wherein the pigment particles are stable and sufficiently dispersed.
The ink composition comprises an ink carrier, a dispersant and pigment particles in which the dispersant stabilizes the pigment particles. The dispersant involves a first functional group that can fix the dispersant to the pigment particles by adsorption, attaching or grafting, and a second functional group that can be compatible in the ink carrier. This ink composition is suitable for the use in ink-jet printing processes.
