PURPOSE: To enable a minute amount of ink to be fed to a roller during its rotation by discharging it from an ink discharge pipe, by providing an air discharging means jetting air parallel to ink around the ink discharged from the ink discharge pipe.
CONSTITUTION: When a solenoid valve 24 is opened, compressed air is supplied to a cylinder hole 20, and an air operating piston 21 is pushed downward to open a needle 12. Thereby, the ink of a high pressure in an ink feed pipe 5 is sent into an ink discharge pipe 10, and discharged from its top. Then, when the solenoid valve 24 is closed, the compressed air in a cylinder hole 20 is discharged to a pipe line 26 and the air pressure acting on the air operating piston 21 vanishes. Therefore, the needle 19 is forced onto a valve seat 18 with a coil spring 22 to close the valve, and the ink discharge from an ink feed nozzle 4 is stopped. The needle 19 is opened and closed once by the opening and closing once of the solenoid valve 24. A fixed amount of ink determined by the open time of the needle 19 is discharged, in a long narrow manner, from each ink feed nozzle 4 and satisfactorily supplied to an ink distributing roller.
