Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize an apparatus and to decrease burden of a CPU in an ink jet recording apparatus performing recording by using a plurality of ink jet recording heads with different color tones.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of recording heads 322 are radially arranged around a rotating shaft 324e being parallel in the main scanning direction and a recording is performed by facing selectively them to a recording medium. The width of the apparatus can be made smaller than the case where recording heads are arranged in parallel and recording is simultaneously performed and burden of a CPU can be decreased.
