Abstract:

To obtain an inkjet head which can surely part a conductive layer into a plurality of electrodes, and prevent short circuit of the electrode.

The inkjet head includes an actuator, and a substrate having a mounting surface. The actuator includes a body having a front surface, a back surface and inclined side surfaces, and a plurality of grooves arranged to leave space in between in a longitudinal direction of the body. The body is attached to the mounting surface of the substrate through an adhesive layer. The substrate has a plurality of adhesive inflow parts made open on the mounting surface. The adhesive inflow part is provided on the substrate to correspond to a position of the side surface of the body. A plurality of insulating patterns are provided on the conductive layer that continuously covers the side surface of the body, an inner surface of the groove, an end of the adhesive layer exposed from space between the side surface of the body and the mounting surface of the substrate and the mounting surface of the substrate. The insulating pattern extends to the mounting surface of the substrate across the end of the adhesive layer from the space between the grooves. The conductive layer is parted into the plurality of electrodes corresponding to the grooves by the insulating patterns.
