Abstract:
To provide an inkjet recorder capable of forming an image further excellent in uniformity of glossiness, while restraining displacement of a color tone of the image with the lapse of time.SOLUTION: An inkjet recorder comprises a first head for forming an image on a recording medium by discharging a plurality of inks different in weatherability to the recording medium in response to image data, a second head for discharging a weatherability improvement liquid including resin and an ultraviolet ray shielding material for improving the weatherability of respective dots by covering the respective dots in the image by respective inks of the plurality of inks and control means for controlling discharge of the weatherability improvement liquid by the second head to the respective dots in the image so that a dot higher in the weatherability than a dot low in the weatherability becomes small in the weatherability improvement effect by the weatherability improvement liquid on the basis of the image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
