Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic fiber molding formed by an inorganic fiber material which prevents scattering of inorganic fibers constituting the inorganic fiber material.SOLUTION: An inorganic fiber molding according to the present invention is used as a fuel for combustion, is obtained by integrally molding an inorganic fiber material and a thermoplastic resin, and comprises: an inside area formed within the inorganic fiber molding, with the thermoplastic resin dispersed in the inorganic fiber material; and a front side area which is an area closer to a surface of the inorganic fiber molding than the inside area and constituting the surface, the inorganic fiber material being impregnated with the thermoplastic resin. The ignition loss of the inorganic fiber molding is 10% or more to 54% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
