Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert casting member manufactured by casting, which is an insert casting member manufacturable easily and inexpensively, and capable of securing bond strength between a material to be insert-cast and an insert casting material; and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: There is provided an insert casting member in which a material to be insert-cast is insert-cast by an insert casting material. In the insert casting member, a junction layer containing one or more kinds of elements selected from Fe, Ni, Al, Cu, Mo, Ti, Zr, Hf, Co, Mg, La, Pd, Ag, Au, Pt exists between the material to be insert-cast and the insert casting material, and each diffusion region in which the elements are diffused exists adjacently to the junction layer in the material to be insert-cast and the insert casting material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
