Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert member in which a core inserted when casting a cast part can be easily pulled out, and a method for manufacturing the insert member.SOLUTION: One end side of a cylindrical pipe part 25 is inserted thereby forming a cast part 26. On one end side of the pipe part 25 which is inserted by the cast part 26, a taper part 32, which is gradually reduced toward a tip side, is formed. When casting the cast part 26, it can be suppressed that the pipe part 25 bites to a core, which is inserted in the pipe part, by reduction of the pipe part 25 due to mold shrinkage of the cast part 26. After molding the cast part 26, the core can be easily pulled out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
