Title:
INSPECTING MICROCHIP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010203779
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an inspecting microchip for automatically stopping the sending of a liquid at a desired place without requiring a liquid detecting sensor.
The inspecting microchip is constituted by forming fine flow channels 42a-42e to a substrate 2 and by mounting micropumps 10 on the substrate 2. Tanks 5 for supplying a drive liquid to the micropumps 10 are provided to the substrate and each of the tanks 5 is filled with the drive liquid in a amount corresponding to the liquid sending amount of a reagent or specimen required in inspection. Accordingly, when only a filling amount of the drive liquid is sent into each of the tanks 5 by the micropumps 10, the sending of the drive liquid is stopped.
