Abstract:
To provide an inspection device for a board-shaped or mat-shaped fiber structure that determines quality of the fiber structure based on light transmissivity.SOLUTION: An inspection device 1 comprises: a photographing device 3 for photographing the top surface of a fiber structure (fiber board FB) while the reverse surface of the fiber structure is irradiated with light from a light source 2; determination means for calculating an area of a portion of photographed images P1 and P2 where the brightness is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold as a transmission portion area S and determining quality of the fiber structure based on the size of the transmission portion area S or the ratio R of the transmission portion area to the surface area of the fiber structure; and condition change means for changing at least one of the intensity of the light source, the illuminance on the reverse surface of the fiber structure, the amount of light incident on the photographing device, the sensitivity of the photographing device, and the threshold according to the type of the fiber structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
