Representative constitution of an installation structure for the data carrier is provided with a looped shallow installation groove 11 formed on a road surface above an underground buried body requiring information communication, the loop antenna 7 which is inserted along the installation groove 11, an RFID tag 1a which is inserted into the installation groove 11 and performs communication of an electromagnetic wave with a communication device above the road surface via the loop antenna 7, and a coating layer 12 which covers the surface of the installation groove 11.
