Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide installation structure and an installation method of a weather strip capable of preventing meandering of the weather strip caused by a linear expansion difference.
SOLUTION: A weather strip 2 is made free to slide against a door trim main body 1 by a protruded part 11 for fitting and a recessed groove 24 by forming the recessed groove 24 on a lower jaw part 22c of a holding frame part 22 and forming the protruded part 11 for fitting to be fit in the recessed groove 24 free to slide on a garnish part in installation structure of the weather strip 2 installing the weather strip 2 on the garnish part of the door trim main body 1 with its holding frame part 22. The weather strip 2 is protruded for fitting so that it is in an adherent state to the door trim main body but in a non-adherent state against the recessed groove 24 by injecting a hot melt type adhesive which does not remelt if once reacted and hardened after applying a mold releasing agent in the recessed groove 24 and making it react and hardened.
