Title:
INSTALLING STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT OF VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003127803
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an installing structure for electric equipment being efficiently installed while the internal space of an engine room is efficiently utilized and capable of shortening the laying length of a wire harness to connect a vehicle battery with the electric equipment.

A fuse box 1 and an electronically controlled fuel injection device (EPI) 2 as electric equipment for a vehicle are installed close to the battery 4 on the undersurface of a cowl front panel 11 installed over a dash panel 15 which partitions the engine room from a cabin. The fuel injection device (EPI) 2 is installed inside the engine room in its location nearer the dash panel 15 than the tail edge of a hood in its closed condition. This secures the waterproofness of the injection device (EPI) 2, shortens the laying length of the wire harness, and reduces the vehicle costs. Further working easiness for other vehicle components is enhanced.
