Abstract:
To prevent a lid breaking tear part from scattering due to breakage at the development of an airbag of a front passenger seat side and to eliminate nonconformity at injection molding and defects of appearance such as a surface recess.
In this instrument panel for an automobile, an instrument panel body is molded by injection molding, and an airbag development part 6 is provided to the front passenger seat side of the instrument panel body 3. An olefinic elastomer molded product 5 or a polypropylene-based polypropylene molded product 5 is integrally formed on the rear face of the airbag development part 6 by vibration welding or ultrasonic welding.
