The instrument panel of a vehicle comprises a core panel 11 arranged at the front end of a compartment room 6 within a vehicle body 2, extending axially in the vehicle body 2 and fixed to the vehicle body 2, and a cluster panel 13 to which vehicle components 9 are fixed and which is engaged with the core panel 11 by an engagement element 12 through a forward motion A from the rear region in the core panel 11 in a direction crossing at a right angle with a longitudinal direction of the core panel 11. One of the vehicle components 9 more widely protruded from the cluster panel 13 in a forward direction is fitted through the forward motion A of the cluster panel 13 and a fitted part 30 for use in position setting the cluster board 13 at a predetermined position of the core panel 11 is formed in the core panel 11.
